Services are provided by Kerry Dyer, a Washington State Licensed Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist, and NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. Her training includes naturally supporting the body with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), manual therapy techniques, and other modalities.
She is a general practitioner with special interests in: stress and digestion related discomfort - women's health - acute and chronic illness - acute and chronic pain - peripheral neuropathy.
Kerry, she/her, attended the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She graduated in 2005 with a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and continues to study qigong with the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School. Kerry received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1999 from the University of Alaska. She is a 1997 massage graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts. She has worked in healthcare for over 20 years at a variety of locations including the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, AK and Medical Massage and Acupuncture Inc. in Chehalis, WA.
She enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with youth and community organizations, gardening with native plants, reading science fiction, and practicing qigong and yoga. Her husband is an Army National Guard veteran and first responder.
A Diplomate of Oriental Medicine is a practitioner who is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®) and has met the certification requirements for both acupuncture and Chinese herbology. It is a considerable professional achievement to earn the designation Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). NCCAOM certification indicates to employers, patients, and peers that one has met national standards for the safe and competent practice of acupuncture and Chinese herbology as defined by the acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) profession.
